Our Instructors

  • Alisha Boone

    FOUNDER/INSTRUCTOR

Alisha has been practicing Hot Yoga for 6 years and is a certified RYT500 yoga instructor through YogaRenew. Her journey to enlightenment came on the mat while chasing the love for the physical asana practice of yoga but led her to the deep ancient wisdom and art of connecting the breath to movement allowing for transformation in all areas of her life. While her main goal as a teacher in hot yoga is to safely give an intense, detoxing workout, her true souls’ passion is becoming a vessel to her students to embark on their true desire to lead a more peaceful, mindful, happy, and purpose driven lifestyle.

  • Bekah Cross

    INSTRUCTOR

Bekah has been sharing her love of yoga and movement with the community since the age of 17. After receiving her 200 hour yoga certification, her speciality has grown in the field of working through the “issues in the tissues.” If you find yourself in one of her classes, be prepared to be reminded that this is YOUR PRACTICE and nobody else’s. There is freedom to flow, and freedom to rest in all of her sessions. Her teaching style is suitable for beginners and intermediate students alike. She cannot wait to meet you on the mat!

  • Tiffany Barnes

    INSTRUCTOR

Tiffany grew up surrounded by fitness, inspired by her mom’s role as a gym manager and instructor. After years of teaching a variety of formats, she found yoga while healing from a hip injury and personal losses—and quickly discovered it was more than a workout. Yoga became a life-changing practice, restoring her mind-body connection and inspiring her to complete her 200-hour training with Empower Wellness in 2025.

Her classes balance energy and stillness, with creative sequencing, music, and alignment-focused cues for all levels. Tiffany’s passion is creating a welcoming space where students can connect, heal, and grow—both on and off the mat.

  • Danielle Hendricks

    INSTRUCTOR

Danielle came to know yoga in her early 20’s, after attending multiple classes at the Kokomo YMCA with her first teacher, Bekah Cross. After several years of friendship, yoga, and two children later, Danielle committed to the 200 hr YTT through Empower Yoga, Logansport, in 2021.  Upon completing her 200 hours, Danielle moved to North Carolina, experienced various forms of teaching and yoga styles, as well as taught yoga for moms groups and the YMCA in Apex, NC.  In 2023, before moving back to Indiana, she felt called to complete a 90 hour prenatal YTT with Flow of Life Yoga, Asheville.  Being able to confidentially offer yoga to all bodies was important to her, as well as empowering women to listen to and work with their bodies pre and postnatal.  After completing prenatal training, while pregnant with her third child, she completed the 300 hour YTT led by well known and respected yoga teacher, Rolf Gates, at City Yoga, Indianapolis.  Danielle has taken a large break in teaching to raise her children but has continued her personal yoga, especially in mindfulness, breath work, and gentle practice.  Her style will include mindful movement synced with breath work, strong holds, gentle strengthening flow.  Danielle’s prenatal teaching style brings many hip openers and stretches, while also building strength in the body, leaving soon to be parents feeling strong, yet relaxed, and hopefully less sore and fatigued.

  • Bryan Bowen

    INSTRUCTOR

Bryan’s journey into health and wellness began in 2000, sparked by a transformative psychedelic experience that led him to explore practices like fasting, breathwork, and meditation. In 2002, after attending a Kundalini yoga retreat in Crawfordsville, he started practicing with Nedra Hollingsworth at the St. Joseph auxiliary building, deepening his connection to yoga and holistic healing.

Over the past two decades, Bryan has explored a variety of life and spiritual paths, always returning to the grounding power of mindful movement and self-discovery. When he moved back to Kokomo, a chance meeting with Alisha from Fierce Yoga inspired him to try hot yoga during a pivotal season of personal healing. The supportive community and challenges at Fierce quickly became a cornerstone in his life, leading to profound somatic releases and emotional growth on the mat.

Encouraged by the loving accountability and vibrant community at Fierce, Bryan pursued his yoga teacher training. He’s now excited to share his eclectic knowledge and compassionate approach, creating a safe space for students to listen to their bodies and souls. Bryan’s classes blend mindful movement, breathwork, and a spirit of curiosity-inviting everyone, regardless of experience, to join him in a journey of healing and self-connection.

Whether you’re new to yoga or looking to deepen your practice, Bryan welcomes you to join him at Fierce Yoga for classes rooted in authenticity, empathy, and community.
